Hello Fellow Native American Art Collectors

My Father and I began merchandising Native American Jewelry and primitive art in 1956. Those who collect now without reprisal at the bank are indeed fortunate. As with any business of this type, we must sell some of our treasures in order to continue our own collection. That can be painful in business so you almost attempt disliking these treasures to merchandise them and to help keep your sanity. After my father passed away, I moved into Record Production and we all thought the business was over for many years. I had kept only a small amount of inventory in storage, almost forgetting it. From this lot comes the prehistoric pieces we may legally offer. Handling these pieces again quickened our pulse and we found that some beautiful pieces were still available. However, the price increase was incredible! A vintage native american basket, we used to buy for $6.00 was now almost $1600! This confirmed for me how rare pieces appreciate in value. My father used to say, “There is always a market for the best.” Our suppliers love us and we love them!

Special Request

It can be very difficult at times to find items to build a collection. Our traders and sources have sniffed many a cobweb in a darkened garage or attic. I once fished a roll type Edison phonograph out of a chicken coop! On our site, your request is searched for by many eyes. We negotiate to find the best price for you, notify you by phone or email and if the price is agreed on, we purchase the piece and after careful packing it is sent to you. Notify us by email and we will put our trader snouts to the rout.

Arizona Highways

We were fortunate enough to have part of our collection of “Trade Beads” and other items appear in three issues of “Arizona Highways Magazine” in the 1970s. Quite a few people enjoyed these historical beads and it did make an attractive cover for the magazine. Our craftsmen are now working on the necklaces of these and other historical beads. These will be available soon under “Other Art”. Click on the image to see an enlarged copy of the Arizona Highways cover page.
